How to deposit funds in Indus with Akahu

Depositing funds into your Indus account using Akahu offers a streamlined and efficient way to manage your finances. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to link your accounts and initiate transfers securely.

Leveraging Akahu's open banking technology, you can enjoy greater control and convenience over your deposits. Follow these instructions to seamlessly fund your Indus account.

1. First, Log in to your Indus Mobile App. -> Click On the Wallet Icon. -> Select Instant Transfer -> Click “Connect Bank Accountˮ.

2.  If it is your first time using Akahu, you will need to authorize. To do this, click “Continueˮ.

Indus Mobile App will redirect you to Akahu and you will need to enter the required information to verify your account.

• Click 'Continue’ again to proceed.

• Enter your email address and click "Continue".

• A verification code will be sent to this email address. Enter this code. 

3. Select your bank, and submit your online bank account credentials. (Please note that this step is private, and we do not store this information.) 

4.  Now that you have authorised the bank account via Akahu, when you choose to deposit with Akahu, the bank account you have linked will be visible on this page and can be deposited from.

• After entering the amount you want to deposit, click Next, and there will be a prompt for confirmation of the transfer.

5. After the confirmation, once the “Payment In Progress" screen appears, it means that we have received your funds and its being converted to INR.

It will reflect in your wallet by the same day or by the next business day.
